STRATUS (2022)

The painted foam installation, flexible and combinable as a collage, exploits the spatial transformational capability of light and projected image, its layers of meaning organized around the interaction of spatiality and imagery, backed by a series of medial transformations. Digital imagery is complemented by analog interventions arising from the uneven shadows cast by the irregular projection surface, turning them into organizing elements of the composition. Rather than the traditional single viewpoint of projected moving images, changing the perspective allows for the exploration of the image-forming elements, building the composition from visual fragments. Through the meditative flows of generative animations, capturing materiality, and adapting organic forms, a continuously changing illusionary landscape unfolds before us, becoming a metaphor for life as a pulsating organism.
